The first post of a new blog always feels awkward, so I’m going to start off with a short poem. It’s one I’ve long loved for flipping perspective, seeing from a fresh angle, which is what good art should do and what Pakou and I hope to share through the links, words, art, and music we find.

Near a shrine in Japan he’d swept the path
and then placed camellia blossoms there.
Or – we had not way of knowing – he’d swept the path
between fallen camellias.
